I sent this along to Subway Corporate and after six days there has been no response. Incident occurred November 7th, 2014 We eat at Subway often so we'd been looking forward to November 7th, 2014 because it was buy one sandwich get one free day. We stopped at this location, expecting it to be busy, which it was. We didn't mind waiting for the deal, but it was what happened next that sent us and 30 other customers out the door with no food. The first thing we noticed was than a male employee looked at us and rolled his eyes as if to say "great another person coming in." (The line stretched around the whole store to the door). There were three employees present, but one lady with red hair was taking the orders and doing at least 90% of the work. There was a guy with short dark hair (the one who rolled his eyes at us and everyone else who came in) that was supposed to be helping put veggies on the sandwiches and toasting them etc. but he would put a sandwich in the oven to toast it and then stand there doing nothing until it was done. Meanwhile there were 30 people waiting in line. The lady with the red hair asked him to please help her. He rolled his eyes and then started working, but working very slowly (it appeared deliberately so). Then there was another guy with short blond hair that was working the register. He kept leaving the register and going into the back for who knows what. Finally the lady told him he needed to stay at the register and worry about doing dishes later. It went on like this for nearly a half hour with the lady doing most of the work and the other two dragging their feet. The lady finally told the other two that if they didn't help more that she was going to get her things and leave. She asked him for help many times but he kept ignoring her and doing whatever he wanted to do. She finally got her purse, apologized to all of us, and then she left the store. At this point the real lazy guy (with the short dark hair) completely stopped what he was doing, took off his gloves, and then started trying to call someone on the phone. This went on for about ten minutes before we'd finally had enough and left, along with everyone else, without having been able to even order our food. The next day I made phone contact with someone who identified himself as the manager. I wanted to let him know the whole story because I knew the two guys wouldn't tell everything. The manager said he'd been told that someone "just walked out and they didn't know why." I think they need to beg the lady to come back, make her a manager, and give her a raise. As far as the two lazy guys, they should be looking elsewhere for work. We love Subway, but we'll never return to this store because we don't want to take a chance on being "helped" by the two guys who caused this whole mess UPDATE: The owner returned my call and offered to leave me a coupon for a free sandwich "in the drawer." I took him up on the offer, but when we went in, the kid at the register, (the same one from the infamous experience) had no idea what we were talking about so we paid for the sandwich, left and will never return to that store On a side note, the store on 3500 South just East of 5600 West has always been a great place so we'll continue to go there.
